Crafting is something close to my heart. I love using my hands to create handmade, fibery goodness for others to enjoy. It feels like the past 10 years knitting and crocheting has been taking a great upswing and the possibilities out there to work with fibers are now almost limitless with lovely yarns for every fiber crafters needs are easily available online.
I picked up my first crochet hook when I was 7 years old. My mom was making doilies all the time at home, she had the charts and Leisure Arts booklets and she used to use the really thin cotton yarn. I never read the patterns instead I only took some yarn and needle and worked on one project all day. I’d make little doilies in my bedroom and that was my stepping stone to the world of yarn, crocheting and knitting. Since then, during different stages of my life, yarn has been a part of me somehow. I cannot imagine living without fiber crafting!
I try to have as much free time for my projects when I can but sometimes there is just not enough time to go around. Therefor, there might be periods when there is not as much posts as one would hope. Quality over quantity is so important when I do post something so I hope it will be something worth everyone’s while. Do bare with me if there is a gap, I haven’t forgotten! I just want to make sure my stories and posts will be worth your time for you when I do get to jot it down.
Welcome to my blog and I really hope you will find it fun!
